Bushnell Legend?

Was on the Bushnell site and noticed they no longer listed Legend scopes. Does anyone know if they have been dropped? It seems like the new Trophy's are being pushed in their place.

They are gone unfortunately. Check out the new Redfields from Leupold. Decent glass at a similar price to the Legends.

Bushnell bought Simmons, marketing the Simmons Prohunter as it's replacement (same pricepoint)

I thought the Legend was being replaced by the Trophy XLT-series ?


Simmons ProHunters are like looking through mud, compared to a Legend -- I would certainly hope they don't expect them to be a replacement for the Legend series.

price is a big problem with scopes they almost cost as much as the gun.bushnell makes decent scopes for an affortable price the legend was one of them.

WSS is selling them on clearance for $109 for the 3-9x40 model.

I bought one and there was a BIG black chip right in the centre of the reticle... grr...

Going to take it back - not sure if I'll get one or a Vortex Crossfire. Thoughts?

Haven't heard much good about the crossfire. I'd be all over that Redfield with the acurange reticle though. Shooterschoice out of Alberta has good prices on them...
I have a 5-15 Legend and its been good to me, thinking about selling it though if anyone really wants it. Box and reciept and 1 1/2 years old... Wallmart in Anherstburg still has a few of the 5-15 legends for sale...

Not sure what you heard that was so bad about the Crossfire. Beats most anything Bushnell up to and including their 3200 series.
