Bushnell lovers

:) This is great news. I owned a couple of B&L 10x Tacticals (designed and manufactured by Bushnell) and they were excellent scopes - very dependable with great optics. They will sell a ton of them if the price is right which is likely. I'm a fan of the 4200's but the lower end ones - not so much.

I agree, I think that scope if priced right, like the 3200 10X will sell very well. Man I miss that B&L 10X Tactical, that was a kick ass scope!

Good scopes, if they solve the elevation issues. - dan

Dan, you're right, the current 4200's do need help with elevation. I'm hoping they will remember the 144 minutes of elevation they gave us with the old B&L 10x Tactical.

Priced like the a 3200 is too much to ask of a 30mm variable 4200. I suspect it will be priced somewhat higher than the current top end 4200's but still should be way under the competition. Jamie's photo seems to show a 30mm tube.

They are for sale at approx. $565.00 US. Apparently they have 50 minutes of elevation - more than some, less than others. For ultra long range 20 to 30 moa bases and/or Burris Signature Zee rings with inserts should take you where you want to go. Hope to get one soon and give a range report.

Like I said, the B&L Elite 4000 10X Tactical "was" a great scope . For those of you who have one  , hold onto it  , for thsoe of us who sold ours :bangHead: :( well, we deserve a good :kickInTheNuts: ! It looks like Bushnell will not get this right!

The new tacky scope has a listed amount of 50min but likely will vary between 45 and 50mins. Maybe a few more if lucky. 30mm tubes with exposed target turrents, 1/4 min clicks. Second focal plane mil dot reticle likely to have it work 'properly' at 12X.

Although I am very happy that Bushnell is now making a quality 30mm scope for moderate costs, I am disappointed with the amount of elevation. I was hoping for at least 60 min but 80 to 100min as the goal.

Not going to happen so fallen from my must have list. I am sure the optics and mechanicals will rival the most expensive scopes but you can't go extreme range with it which would be my goal.

By the way, I have been playing with the side focus 1" 6x24 and am very impressed. So far, works as expected and optics the typical good stuff.

Reasonably priced scope plus a rail 20moa (recommended anyway for long range) and it should work nicely.
