Bushnell Match Pro ED 5-30x56 in Canada?

There are many scopes many in China, some good, some bad and a few that are great. This fits the great tab. My Bushnell DM3 is made in Japan and visually looking through both scopes it was a hard decision as to which was the better glass. Will look again when more time but my initial comparison at the range yesterday was a big smile on my face for the price. I’d definitely recommend this scope, I don’t believe you will be disappointed.

Mine arrived & my initial impressions are very good.

Mounted it on my Savage 10P-SR in 308.

Now to get it sighted in!

Cheers
Jay

It certainly fits the “match” criteria these days. It got a little bit of hate online from what I saw. I was close, but ended up snagging a used pst gen 2 for a good price. Less than the bushnell. Maybe not as “match” grade, but established as a decent optic.
It seems like everyone, Vortex included is going after that 5-25x56 ffp 34mm tube big turret Chinese tactical scope these days. I bet they sell millions of them!

Rail is a 20moa Talley & the rings are low 34mm Talley.

Before the scope arrived, I was wondering if the low rings would clear the 56mm objective…

I was pleasantly surprised that the rail & 34mm tube combo with low rings wasn’t an issue.

I finally tried mine out last weekend. One thing I prefer about the previous 6-24 version is the caps on the turrets. Toolless for the smaller one, and much nicer feel to the adjustment.

My Savage 10P-SR in 308 is now sighted in with 150 grain Remington Core Lokt.

I can report that I really like the turrets and positive clicks. The illumination is pretty cool to!

I like the feel of the 6-24 more than the new 5-30. The pop up caps of the larger one are stiffer, and the adjustment is mushy vs positive clicks on the old one.

My preference, but the new one seems to get good reviews from other folks.

I never had a problem with the 6-24, I have 2 of them. I only bought the new one because I wanted more elevation. Honestly though I haven't even taken it out past 100 yet so haven't seen what my gains are over the old one.

Good suggestion, I'll see if anyone local has any in stock to compare.

Agree about things being subjective. You might think my old 6-24 feels too loosy goosy, to throw out another technical term haha.

I mounted mine on a Savage Mk II, so far so good. The glass is clear. I mentioned earlier I've only shot it to 100 yds but looking forward to taking it out to 400 next spring.

In the meantime I'm going to swap it onto my M40 for the winter coyote season. Haven't gotten around to it though.
