Has anyone seen this new Bushnell Trophy Red-Dot that really looks like an ACOG?

Bought one today, and mounted it on the Mini-14, what a great sight for the $$$.

Would be so kind as to do a range report when you do try it? Where did you purchase it BTW? They all work good in the house..I have tried a couple of red dots at the range and have had some issues with them....

I handled one inside Reliable Gun & Tackle. It was a very very sunny day (noon'ish), I looked through it and could barely see the reticle on the highest setting.

However, the quality of the sight itself was good and the reticle was nice. Two colours Red and Green. I think they were going for $210 which is a tad too much IMO (unsure of cost elsewhere).

They are also made in Korea which I do like as Korea has some higher quality control/standards IMO.

It weighs more than the cheaper Trophy reddot, but it didn't have the weird reflection thing that I have noticed when looking through the cheaper reddot. It also has it's own mounting system so that saves you having to buy new rings. If it had 11 settings like the cheaper one it'd be awesome instead of two coloured reticles with only 5(? I think) settings each.

Either way it has the LCF going for it :) - I am looking forward to the review

I have the trophy with the four red recticles..great for all colours of targets in bright sunlight...in shadows however it is hard to see the target because of the coating..I find that I always use the highest brightness setting, so not having 11 is not huge concern for me...Lebarons has them for 189.00 on their website. Nice looking scope....would look great on my beretta storm. Having said that they also advertise a bushnell holo sight for 199.00. Oh what to do!!!

It's highest setting would be like 6 on your reddot from my brief experience with it;) (I wanted its highest setting to be equivalent to an 11 on their other models). It is possible that the battery in the display model was almost dead :D ???

Steve David: Let us know if you can see the reticle in bright sunlight conditions. If you can I think I'd get one. Definitely cheaper alternative to the Eotech I am eyeballing. :p
