Bushnell scopes> great deal had to buy

just picked up three Bushnell models today from a local Walmart in town, they put them on clearance so had to buy them...$220 for all three!!

Banner 3-9x40
Banner 4-12x40
Legend 5-15x40

just getting into guns(dont have any yet) what would be the best use for each type of scope? would the Legend be too much for a .22??

any help would be great

also anyone have any experience with any of these models??

happy I got them but really wanted a Nikon Prostaff BDC
 
5-15 is a good range for a 22 that might shoot long distances. All of them being variable power will have a pretty wide range of application. Banner's used to be good scopes when they were made in Japan. I had a couple on centrefire rifles, and they never let me down. Now, I'm not sure about their quality or durability. But for general plinking, they would be just fine.
 
I would take Japan any day..all three were made in different places

China 3-9
Korea 4-12
Philippines 5-15

thinking of trading them in for something of a higher quality, or at least made in either CDN/USA/Japan.
