Bushnell sharpshooter? ( savage axis combo, Mossberg combo, Ext)

Got a new bushnell sharpshooter on my 300 win mag. I really don't see a 50$ scope lasting so im taking if off and putting a VX1 on.

Is the bushnell sharpshooter suited for a 7.62x39 bolt action like the zastava? Or should I restrict it to a .22 or .17 hmr ( dont have one that needs a scope right now )

I've used one on a .223 for a couple of years now, and no problems. But, I only fire maybe 60 rounds a year out of that gun, and, I've never tried that scope on a .30 cal-type rifle, so maybe not that much help for ya. But it's the experience I have with that scope.
