Bushnell sportview on a 30-06?

I bought the fixins for a new truck gun on saturday. A $100 .30-06, bases,rings and a used Bushnell 4x sportview for $30.
Is this scope fit for an 06?
I'm not planning on taking it to the olympics, I'm just concerned that the 06
will be too much for it.
Anyone got this kind of scope on a centrefire?

I have that scope on a .22. Don't know if it'll handle a 30.06, not really meant for it, but for 30$ you might as well give it a shot. ('cause that might be all you'll get!)

I've used bushnell banners on 30-06, 270 etc. for last 30 yrs. Never had one fail yet.
If it's just for your truck gun what's the worst that can happen? You might miss a
varmint. It won't be like your out your time and money on an expense hunt.

I had a load of 06 brass and ammo, so I had to buy a gun for it
I want to put it together as cheap as possible, and I don't intend to use it as a primary rifle for any serious hunting.
