Bushnell T-Dot - Red /Green

I know lots of guys who have been using the model one step down from that for years on .308's and 30-06 in the bush. Personally used a model 2 steps down with hundreds of 12 gauge loads through it, both light (at turkey shoots) and magnum turkey loads, as well as many a slug and never had the POS give up yet. Maybe doesn't have the name, but on a little peashooter 5.56 I'm willing to bet it would hold up okay!
 
Lot's of guys in my deer camp have been using bushnell red dot's on gun's a hell of a lot bigger than the .223 with no problem's. But then again a lot of guys here will tell you if it dosn't cost a whole bunch of money then it can't be any good.
 
I'm using one on a 7.62 x 39 upper and I like it. One of the best POS"s from Bushnell that I've had. . .

A question that I've been wondering about myself, and the answers are appreciated by me too. Just have to track one down out here in SW Alberta ... anybody know of a source??
 
I have a Bushnell red-dot on mine. A model 73-0134.
I point it at the paper..pull the trigger and a hole appears where I was pointing it. All for a mere $80.
Only fired a couple hundred rounds, but the holes still show up where the red dot is...kinda freaks me out.
Why does this happen? I didn't spend $700 on an aimpoint......

I have one of these POS on my daughters POS Bushmaster 9mm(so im told here) AR and she can put a box of 50 inside the 2 inch bullseye all day long. If your not a mall ninja or zombie killer you will be happy with the setup.
Toatal rounds fired to date with the Red/green Trophys about 3000 9mm (daughters Bushmaster)and 1500 .223 (my armalite) and it shows no sign of letting go anytime soon. Paid 200 new.
I expect Santas putting either the Trophy or the Holosight (another POS not 800$ knock off) in my stocking this year.
Just think of all the ammo you can buy with the money you will save.
Not trying to sound cynical but the last guy that gave me grief at the range for using a clone was promptly out shot by my daughter 3 strings in a row. Lots of under breath chuckling by those around us.
If your not going to bash it around you cant go wrong with the trophy in my opinion. Invading a bananna republic this weekend? Get the aimpoint

I had one and it was like the whole world rotated 40 degrees and you cant see anything during the day, POS!
