Hi guys I'm not too familiar with any of these brands of optics.

Yukon 20-50 VS Bushnell Trophy 20-50

Both are spotting scopes. Same zooms and about the same price :)

I'm looking for a OK quality spotting scope for now as I just want to see 30cal holes at 300 yards and figured Tasco wouldn't do it
Both come with tripod and bag.

so any opinions?
suggestions?

I had a Trophy 20-50 and with my eyes I could see 6mm holes at 100 yds only and not that crisp, blurred at 200 and hazy not clear at 300. You may have better eyes but I think the product is at the low end.

I hear you, I wish that consumers would be able to try out the optics clarity and return the scope if unsatisfied within a week or so :D.

I would love to look through a mid-range spotting scope, but none of my friends have them as they are like myself just starting out .

Bushnell Trophy's glass is dark and very leady, if you're going with bushnell get a legend or even better an elite.

X2. Or look at a Burris - they're getting awful good these days. Their idea of cloning high end Euro glass is working, and their Signature Select glass you have to look through to believe your eyes - I'd generally pick them over the Zeiss Conquest line most of the time. My Trophy has been collecting dudt for some time, as I can see 100 yd bullet holes better with my Minolta 7-21 x 50 binos, even though my Busbnell has a 36X upper end.
