anyone here ever tried bushnell trophy 4x12 doa 600?
I'm planning to use it on my inline ML and was curious how good it is.
thanks :)

I have the 3-9x40 on a Parker Hale 303. Its decent for the price. Its bright but the outer edge of the lens blurs bad at 9 power. Its fine as a basic hunting scope. A 12 power would be a waste of money. The lens quality just isn't there.

I use the 4-12 doa 600 on my T/C inline
I have played with the powder charges and found the lines to work quite well on deer sized game
100 zero on the cross hair
Approx 150 first line
Approx 200 next line

I had to finish a wounded deer and made a 150yard head shot with this system

I know a couple of guys with 3-9 and 4-12 Trophy's on their main hunting rifles and they like them fine.

I've some experience with them myself, and I do like them, but I find for like $75 more you can get into much better glass.

I have, on occasion, seen them go on significant sales for like $129 for a 4 - 12 and then they are a real bargain, as you have to go up to a 3200 or a Rifleman to get an honestly better scope IMO.
