any feedback on these. specifically on the 4-12x40 doa 600. probably going on a .243, maybe a .308. cheap scope but will it hold up. if it is an epic fail i could always mount on a 22 for plinking :)

I had a plain 4-12 trophy on a M70 coyote in 22-250 that I use to have, and it worked great, shots from 30 to 500y and it was always right on.
As of now I have a 3-9x40 DOA 250 on my Encore ML LOVE this scope. The dots are set for a 250gr sabot and 150gr powder and should get you to 250y.
I shoot 300gr and 100gr of powder 100y=0", first dot 125y=+1.5", second dot 150y=0", third dot 200y=+1". So the DOA works great for me, scope is nice and clear, all adjustments work awsome. I've always have liked the trophy scopes and have had a couple that have always worked great never a problem, I think the scope is even better now with the new design and the BC scope covers, I'ed buy another one and probably will.
I know it's not a 4-12 doa 600 but I hope it helps.

AFAIK they are similar to the now discontinued bushnell legend line - do a search of those and you'll see some pretty satisfied customers. I have a 5-15x40AO legend and am quite happy. Pretty sure it has the same glass and features (almost) as the new XLT scope.

I have three of them mounted on 22's, Ruger 10\22, Marlin 60, and Remington 541. All are working great and I find quite clear and decent tracking for the money. DOA 600 works great with 22 ballistics once you figure out where it is hitting. As you are probably aware 22 semiautomatics are very hard on scopes but have had no problems. As long as you realize they are not a Leupold or Sightron, they are an excellent value and I would recomend them!

I don't know what this particular magnification is like but I just bought the Trophy XLT 6x18x40 for target shooting with my 243 Win, I haven't tried it yet but I've owned a few Bushnell scopes over the years and never had a problem with any of them, I've had a cheaper 3x9x40 on my 303 for about 20 years now it was $114 when I bought it ( well that's probably a $400 or $500 today) it's been used many times over the years by me and other buddies for moose hunting and it has never had to be readjusted so as far as Bushnell I like them they're good quality scopes for the price and I wouldn't hesitate in buying the one your looking at. hope this helps
