Bh photo (USA company) sent me an e-mail today telling me they are back in stock....$79.95 , Excellent price I got tired of waiting for them to come in so I found a used one on the E.E and I really like mine.
At this price I can see why they sell out fast ...

How come mine came out to $107?
ah well still an awsome deal!
Thanx for the heads up chalkriver my SkS thanxs you ;)

Not your problem!

They are exporting it, not you.

You are breaking no laws ordering it.

I got one a couple months back when it was on sale!

$89 to my door I beleive. ;)

Meanwhile site sponsors above are selling the same sight for $170! WTF

I have no idea why there is such a price difference between these US prices and the Canadian price. $89 is significantly less than I pay wholesale. Our retail on this item is $165 and we mark up at 35 % on this item...you do the math on what it costs wholesale in Canada (as far as I know we get the lowest wholesale prices in Canada). There are a few possibilities as to the difference in prices;
1. Bushnell Canada, which is a subsidery of Bushnell Outdoor Products, is just charging more than their US counterpart.
2. These may be discounted only in the US because of slow sales and were offered to the US dealers at a much better price.
3. These are being discontinued and once again are being discounted at the dealer level in the US.
4. The US retailers in the US that are charging the lower price are just selling off inventory at a loss because of slow or no sales.
This item (73-1303) seems out of sinc with other Bushnell pricing in Canada as generally Canadiaqn and US prices are usually quite close. The TRS 25 has been a good seller for us at $165 and we have often been on back order. I will speak to my Bushnell rep soon about this item for some clarification. Phil.

Thanks Phil.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying dealers are charging 100 percent markup on these things.

I do believe it is something to do with distribution, but if I was a dealer I'd be looking into it. Seems you guys are getting hosed, for sure!

Thanks for the post.

Yup, B&H and the bushnell trs-25, a little known secret I shared with a few guys on here before.

These red dot optics must follow under something else under ITAR, because B&H won't ship other optics out of country or allow you to add them to your cart.

I ordered this .. but got stuck behind yet another Hebrew holidayclosing schedule at B&H Photo ("Succos"? 10 days, seriously?) . I remember these from my photo supply buying days. I should have checked before submitting my order LOL

EDIT: Cancelled that order. I respect their religion but not their business operation.

AH, is it wrong to hire athiests to run the shop during religious holidays?
