I have to give credit to Bushnell for standing by their product. About a year and half ago I sent a 13 year old Bausch and Lomb Balvar back for repair. It was slow but they did fix it and send it back to me. After a year it started to act up again. This was kind of disappointing for a high end scope but it has seen a fair bit of use and every company turns out a few bad ones.
I sent it back again with a note explaining that it had already been in for repair once and that I'd appreciate replacement so I can go out into the field with confidence. Today I received a Bushnell 4200 1.5-6x36 at no charge to replace my old Balvar. I call that good service indeed.
