Hello CGN'rs
I felt compelled to share this with you.
During gopher shooting this summer, my rifle fell to the ground and landed on the objective lens of the scope.
It literally put a bend in the scope and the scope had a banana shape to it.
I called Bushnell and they said my scope was covered under their lifetime warranty and to send it in.
$15 Bushnell admin fee and $18 shipping fee and less than 4 weeks later, replacement scope arrived in the mail.
The damaged scope was a Bushnell Legend HD 4.5-14x42 and it was replaced with Prime 6-18x50.

Bushnell has an awesome warranty.

Although my resent experience wasn't as good as yours I can't really complain either.
I bought the bushnell fusion 1 mile rangefinder binoculars probably 10 years ago, price was close to 1000.00 then at wholesale sports in calgary.
This fall while bear hunting I took a nasty fall off a log on a slash pile.
Ended up breaking the battery box off my ranging binocs. Although way off warranty and the damage was totally my fault they offered me their latest replacement model shipped for just over 300.00. Couldn't say no to that!

Bushnell warranty is really good. Same experience on mine. Sent in my AR optic 1-4x with a very loose windage knob. After 3 weeks, I got a Brand New one still in box and plastic wrapping.

I'm one happy customer. I've been running Bushnell AR optics on all my AR-15's. :)

Always heard good things about Bushnell and vortex. Only had experience with vortex though. I picked up a second hand vortex strikefire once and the mount had stripped torx screws, top cover was scratched up and and in one spot the mount looked like it had an angle grinder to the hex nut, I didn't care as I got it cheap. I emailed vortex to see if I could BUY some replacement torx screws for it and explained the situation (bought it second hand etc) and the whole time it was like the girl was trying to upsell me without actually selling me anything kept asking things like "hows the top cover?" "scratched? oh we will send a new one of those, hows the bottom?" "oh how about we just send you a new whole new mount" "did it come with scope covers or a manual?" "oh well lets add those too" etc. I couldn't believe it, here I was trying to just buy a couple screws and in the end walked away with everything buy the optic itself free of charge!

Anyways back to bushnell, I've always like them and try to buy either them them or vortex first before looking else where but I try to avoid their cheap lines as well...those have dropped a really long way from their prime days.

I had a disreputable member ship me.a.bent scope. When i complained, moderator.Jay, backed the scammer. Not hard, in looking at my feedback to discover whom.

I shipped the scope to bushnell. A few weeks and it was back. Not alot of money, handful of months ahead of leupold, also had been fixed.

Hold onto your Japan bushnell.

I dropped mine and they replaced with a new one no problem, bushnell is better than vortex slightly less advertisement more scopes that actually work.
