I sent my 30 year old 6x20x40 sportview in for repair. It wasn't consistent zero.
I did all the paper work and sent the return $ check for return shipping. I informed them this scope was going on a 22 for a project. I didn't here back from them as to the cost of the repair. 4 weeks later I have a package in the mail from bushnell. I was thinking they sent my scope back saying it was not repairable.
Open the box and they sent abrand new scope back. A banner 6x24 x40.
Service over and above what I was expecting. Well done bushnellšŸ˜€šŸ‘

This is pretty much standard for Bushnell from my own experience, I believe anything model 3000 and up carries a limited lifetime warranty. I'm in Pickering and they are just around the corner from me in Richmond Hill, knowing this I try to take advantage of any "cheap" deals on damaged Bushnells I come across knowing full well it's just a short drive for an over the counter exchange. I've actually never had to exchange any Bushnell scope that I've bought new, they all do their job well and hold zero. I've gotten a few used ones with broken/crooked reticles, they don't even look at them when I take them in for warranty work, they just exchange for the closest current model.

I recently had the same experience with a pair of Binoculars that didn't seem to focus quite sharply enough. Got a way nicer pair in the mail a couple of weeks after sending my old ones in.

I've got an old .22cusyom that's fogged out and hard to see the target. Amazing accuracy though. Wonder if they'd repair/replace...

Don't bet on bushnell treating you like a king. They have a long history of denieing claims, claiming abuse (bent tube was their favorite) declining because of age, of offering to sell you another one for the price of a new one and taking 3 months to get around to looking at it.

I'm glad you got treated right though.

Add another happy warranty customer here.
Twice now when I have sent scopes, they have replaced the units with current models that are the closest to the units I sent in.

Great customer service. I misplaced the turret caps on my old elite 3200, I ringed Bushnell up and ask if I could order a new set, the lady said no problem, I said how much? she said no charge...:d it showed up in my mailbox in 4 days. I had to send a scope back for service(my fault not Bushnell)a year ago, they took care of it right away with no bs, no charge. Got it back in a total of 10 days including the 3 days it took to get to them. Very impressed to say the least. When I am in the market for optical related products, I will definitely consider Bushnell. Matter of fact, I've just bought their tactical spotter LMSS after looking at Zeiss, and Razor. Very happy with it so far.

I sent in my B&L 3000 after the erector shook loose shooting my .375 H&H carbine off the bench.

They fixed it no charge and quickly. I just politely called them twice to make sure they were moving it along.

It's back on my 30-06 ;).
