Bushnell Warranty? Messed up scope.

Got a call from Bushnell today, new scope is on the way.

Send it in for replacement.Their warranty is excellent in my experience.

I agree. I sent in a Banner that a M305 shoot two lenses loose: got a brand new one 6 months later!

Well that worked well. I have a few Bushnells but have never had any issues with them. It's good to know they stand behind their products

Does bushnell want proof of purchase for warranty work?
I bought a used leupold this summer that had a flake loose inside and they replaced the unit in short order. There was a bit of mild miscommunication and they sent it back missing part of the clamp mechanism ( prismatic 1x with mount) but they sent along the missing clamp quickly.

Thanks Nomad, that's good to know.
I find it a pain to have to provide receipts even when I'm the original buyer and it's obviously harder when you buy second hand.
That's why I generally like Leupold and Vortex because the resale value is better should a person want to sell the scope down the road.

The model I had did not need any proof of purchase, it is warrantied for any owner of it.
