Bushnell Warranty.........?

Curious how this turns out, hopefully the op will provide an update.

I did call the U.S. of F.A. and the gal told me to contact the Canadian warranty site.
Funny thing, there is no shoulder strap assembly nor any way to fasten my shoulder harness
to these binos.
They are in my gun show pile.
Did some inventory and it appears the Looky chap has moved most his scopes over to Leupold.
I counted only two Bushnells in the gaggle.
Going to be only one pretty quick.

I wonder if Swarovski, or Leica, or Zeiss would have a "no questions asked" warranty?

Don't be so stupid.

Any product that would use or promote a similar warranty is selling crap. If that's the quality you want, and if that is your mindset (that no questions asked) is better, then you buy crap. I don't. Quality products will not have that policy. If you buy a car with a warranty and you drive it into a tree, do you think the vehicle manufacturer will honour your warranty? No, because you're an idiot. And being stupid should hurt.

I agree, it sucks paying extra for my Vortex/Bushnell scope because they have to factor in the 'I shot my scope, give me a free one' budget.

What sucks even more, though, is paying the incredibly inflated price in the Swaro/Leica/Zeiss that somehow ends up much higher than the Vortex/Bushnell price.

Anyone who can't discern a difference between a Swarovski pair of binoculars and a Bushnell pair of binoculars, deserves a pair of Bushnell binoculars.

Car companies can do that, but then a $20k car will all of a sudden become $60k+ to cover the cost of "VIP" warranty.

I've heard of people sending in Swarovski binoculars that they left on the roof of their vehicle and getting them replaced for free, so it's not quite so black and white.

I sent back my older 2.2-9 Swarovski Habicht scope after it was dropped (my fault) in the basement.

I disclosed the full story to their warranty dept. and they sent me back a fully rebuilt scope with a 4 page parts list all at no cost to me.

sent to Austria or in USA?

i will say 20 years ago i had to pay for the same scope to be fixed for the same story but i used the french distributor/ importer to deal with that. that cured me to use them. seems they changed it that or maybe the care of north american users is more important.
