Bushnell warrenty??

I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to get a scope back from bushnell through warrenty. I sent in a 3200 10X40 About 4 months ago and haven't heard anything. What is your experiences with bushnell warrenty?
 
You might get it back shortly. My average is 3-5 months. Buy a Leupold, Vortex or Burris. I refuse to buy anything from Bushnell anymore.

Its really to bad about where their service has gone. Years ago I sent in a 12 yr. old scope and received a new one 2 days later by courier. I have also sent back bino's and a spotting scope, and it never took as long as you guys say it takes.

Just from all the posts I have read over the last couple years about their crappy service lately, I have switched my business to Burris. I have no idea how good their service is since I have not needed it(and hope i never will) , but I do not ever remember reading any posts here at CGN about people complaining about the Burris warranty service.

Have heard good things about the Vortex, and hope to look through one soon.
 
Same reason I will never own another Bushnell....service is so poor. All mine are Leupolds now and when I have dealt with them for service, whether in the States or here it fast and excellent.
 
I sent in my Elite 3200, 3-9x40, included photos of fogged lense to show problem and cheque for 10.00 handling fee. Also sent some nice hunting photos with their products in the pictures:
March 25 Bushnell signs receiving parcell.
April 23 Cheque for $10 handling fee cashed.
April 24 I receive Bushnell acknowledgement card acknowledging they received product April 17:confused:.
April 24 to July 8 web site says "received, hold for inspection".
July 9 I send Bushnell an e mail asking what is taking so long and if I should purchase another scope for hunting season:mad:.
July 12 Bushnell sends e mail in response to mine advising me they will move product to technicians bench:rolleyes:.
July 17 Website says "preparing to ship"
July 20 website says "product shipped"
July 24 I receive my scope with all my pictures returned. There is one sticker in the box for some unknown product I have never heard of.
Soo.. In my case it took exactly 4 months.
I believe it would have taken even longer if I had not e mailed them looking for my scope.
Very unfortunate they have such poor warranty service.

Trust me... Bushnell Canada is aware of this problem but there are other things driving the long repair time that are controlled out of head office in the USA. We have great factory reps. in Alberta and they do a great job of sorting out specific problems but the issue still remains at the top. I will be addressing this with the Bushnell Canada executives at the upcoming Shot Show. Phil.
 
Three months and counting, And i have been calling in monthly! Terrible service has made me swear off of their products. I spent $400 of my hard earned cash on a scope that froze up internally as soon as it got cold out. I had to make do all season and worry about keeping my rifle warm.
Seriously,stay away from Bushnell!

I am @ 7 months and counting. Plus now they are telling me it's an "image erector problem"...
What ever the hell that mean's. All I know is it's a $1200 optic that gave me less then six months of use and has been in the warrenty repair lab ever since and now they want another $400 to do the repair. This is the last busnell product I am ever going to buy.
