Saturday saw another 26 participants complete their Competency and Safety Exam (CASE) to qualify to participate in tactical shooting competitions as part of Dynamic Sport Shooting BC Association!!

We had a great match at TMSA on Sunday despite a little rain! 50 participants braved the elements to run and gun! Thanks to our sponsors for their support and a well-stocked prize table: Reliable, CTCS, Wanstalls, Tiger Arms, DSTactical, and Joint Force Tactical.

Check out DSSMatch.com to get info and get on the email list! This is a fun organization run by volunteers, promoting safety, sportsmanship and participation ahead of all else!

I wish I had more time to come over and do this. A rifle match sounds awesome. I could probably swing one day this season...but that would only get me the course. Unless you guys wanted to run a course on the Island.... :p

Can spectators come just to watch the show?

My only semi is an sks, but watching others compete might be the push I need to get something more competitive.

Spectators with a signed waiver and eye/earpro are allowed. And one of the organizers used to compete with an SKS and did very well (none are that brave now).

Oh I'd probably be willing to do it, although I'd probably want some experience on a more suitable platform first... embarrass myself once I'm not a total newb lol

If a range is interested in hosting we may be able to manage such a thing!

We're hoping to get to the point where other clubs can access our Competency and Safety Exam (CASE) material and qualify their own participants and hold their own matches, but we need to focus upon consolidating our own rapid growth here before packaging that up.

We are planning for one in Chilliwack again. However, the shooting season is upon us and Chilliwack is hosting the next two 2-gun TAC Matches. We are trying to find time to get a course done. Please send your info to dssmatch.com for updates.

That's good to hear as I've got a couple of friends that need to get that done too.

Thanks for the organizing.
