Busy weekend, with a couple firsts!

This was a busy weekend for me, with a couple firsts in my hunting history.

Saturday was invited out to hunt rabbits using a pair of beagles, which was a fun experience. And while I didnt have the chance to shoot, we did get two bunnies for me to take home and try out.

Then Today I tried Goose hunting with a friend for the first time... and success! We got 5 between the both of us (I shot 3).

Overall it was a great weekend, and I look forward to continuing to hunt both geese and rabbits in the future.

Awesome job! I was wondering about the geese around here since I’ve been hearing them migrating since Sept. 1st which felt early to me. I’ve only ever hunted grouse but I might try turkey and geese next year. I’d be happy with one let alone 5!
