Im having problems with the BC Steel lip 25 round mags!!! I read in the 10\22 tips that if the shells are not moving up all the way that the fix is to file the feeding ramp down a bit as shown in the picture??Just wondering if anyone has done this and if it works before i tamper with my mags.Thsi seems to be the exact same problem im having and its driving me nuts!!!! Thanks

Better make darn sure your mags are fully seated before trying that "fix". The BC mags can be kinda stiff to get in, and require a little wiggle and a good push to get in. I've got a couple and my has the same problem sometimes because she's to gentle with them, and other than that, they work better than the factory mags.

I found the only fix is time...load them, unload them (by shooting if you have range time, by hand if you don't) eventually they will feed reliable...I hope you bought a loader as well, saves on the thumbs!

ive recently purchased a pair of steel lipped ones. i had the same problem of them not coming up high enough to have the bolt catch the rim of the cartridge. my old hot lips never had THAT problem, though they did have others.

Seemed to help mine. It didn't take much filling, just enough to not have a sharp edge there. I haven't had an issue since. Stoning would work also but it would be a little tight to get in there.
