I have a Crossfire II 2-7 X 32 that I just installed on an older Marlin 336.

I would like to put a set of pop-up scope covers on it but the scope has a rubberized focusing ring at the back of the ocular lens.

Has anyone put a set of caps on one of these? Any issues with the tight fit of the BC cap interfering with the focusing ring?

Measure the ocular lens with a metric measure device and buy accordingly..in mm of course.
Vortex has their own version of Butler Crick Caps...
Have you looked at those to see if there is some difference between the two brands that may address your concerns ?

Just buy the defender caps from Vortex and save yourself the hassle of the BC falling apart. The old ones were great but the newer ones are junk. Once your scope is adjusted properly you shouldn’t be turning it anyways. Set your scope on 7x and mount your (empty) gun with your eyes closed pointing at a white or light coloured wall. When you open your eyes the reticle (crosshairs) should be crisp and sharp. Don’t look too long as your eyes will try too correct. It should be sharp instantly without moving your head around. Hope this helps
