Butler creek flip up cap sizes for vortex diamondback tactical?

I measured with a caliper and looked at a sizing chart which recommends #19/#40 but I have a 17 here and it fits well. so?? the sizing chart does not have the tactical model if that makes a difference its a 6-24x50mm. Anyone have one? ty

I always bring my scope/rifle with me to the gun store and physically fit the scope covers to my scope to ensure perfect fitment before buying them. It's the only way I can to be 100% sure. I've have bad luck buying them online.

I normally measure the objective size and then look at the Butler creek chart to see which ones might fit.
Then I order two or three different sizes from Amazon ..... try them on the scope ... and I keep the one that fits best .... and I return the others.

Just measure it, I just got one today for my BTR, took a number 40, but it is tight.
