Butler Creek versus Ram-line Stocks

My gunsmith is putting my Husqvarna 1640 action into a black synthetic stock. A couple of options are the Butler Ck and Ram-line stocks, both make a stock for the small ring Mauser 98 action, which the Husky is similar to. With glass bedding they'll work. Anyone use either of these, anyone have an opinion? Or does someone know about a better option?

If you get the plastic injection molded stocks the bedding compound is difficult to make stick so bedding may become problematic. If Bell and Carson makes a stock bedding would be easier as their stocks are fiberglass and kevlar .

I have an 03 Sprinngfield in a ram line and find it comfortable as well as a great fit. I didn't like the hollow sound from the butt end so I filled it with spray foam. Would get another if I had too.

I can tell you that Butler Creek stocks dont take glass-bedding. Possible if you really rough-up the area or drilled dozens of small holes to allow bedding to grip it might work. B&C would be a step-up but they are quite robust and better for large caliber magnums in my opinion. I suggest you hold out for a McMillan, H-S etc. More money but think you'll be happier.
Cheers
