Buttler creek steel lip magazine troubles

I am running a butler creek steel lip 25 rd magazine in my Ruger 10/22
If I load 20 or less rounds, it's fine works flawlessly.
Between 20 & 25 rounds I keep getting FTFs.
Has anyone else seen this issue?

Mine worked alot better once i broke it in some, keep it full of shells for a week or so and it helps. What is it doing when it fails to feed, whats the bolt doing?
 
Same issues here. 2 brand new BC 25rd mags. First 5 FTF, all good after that. Most brand new BC mags I've had do this, seems to go away with use.
 
I also loaded them up and I'm going to let them sit until next time I use them. Never did that before, just used them and eventually they got better. Hopefully this will speed things along. Scored a BC mag loader from the EE. If you dont already have one, get one. Well worth it if you shoot a lot.
