Buttpad on a Cooey 60?

Has anybody ever put a slip on buttpad on their Cooey Model 60? I think it goes without saying that it's not for the hellish recoil that the gun produces :p but rather to increase the length of pull for a tall guy like me. Also, when I restore/refinish/reblue it, I'm looking for a "modern classic" type of look, new meets old.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what fits good, or should I just order one of those one size fits all Limbsavers?

I use a slip on Limbsaver for the same reason on a lot of my milsurp rifles. I'm not tall, but I have long arms and most of those rifles were made for midgets or people wearing heavy winter clothing. I would look at the slip on Limbsaver sizing before ordering, I think they come in small/medium/large. Another option would be to make a couple of wood spacers up to match the Cooey stock and then add them in under the stock buttplate as required for extra LOP. There are also extra thick butt pads made for the SKS to give a reasonable LOP for modern sized shooters. Hi Cal used to have them, but I don't see them on the site any longer.

Usually, when Kamlooky relies with anything resempbling sober adivce it will be repeated by 2-3 CGNer's who state it in general (drunken) language

In this case,l it would seem he's reccomending you get a sandable buttpad and learn how to fit it to your stock.
