I have been contemplating buying a certain model gun, in 243 for some time, over a year at least. I noticed a couple of weeks ago that Ellwood E has the model I was thinking about in 308. I don't need another 308 but I do like the platform. I cannot give you guys more details as I know some of you will hog the phone lines at 9am and buy it.

I would like to achieve something today!

What would you do, buy the gun or clean the garage?

Sorry but that is what my ex wife would have said. :D

Where would I post it? If I could have made it some what political I would have made it a poll. :)

BTW, I've started cleaning but I was hoping by 9am some of you guys would save me. Its a big garage and an even bigger mess. :D

Unless there are guns missing in the garage because it is so messy, go buy the new gun. The garage can wait... :D

On your death bed I doubt you will say "man, I really should have cleaned the garage more instead of shooting".

Enjoy the new gun :)

Depends how long has the wife been nagging to get the garage clean. If it's an ex-wife meh, go get the gun and the hell with her if it's a current wife and you want to keep her a current wife, clean the Garage and go get the gun after. :D

You can be right in a marriage or you can be happy pick one or If momma ain't happy ain't nobody happy. Two things I live by.

Why not just make a phone order, have it shipped and get to the garage right after you hang up? That way when it gets to you the garage cleaning won't delay your trip to the range!!

Thank you everyone for your input. Sometimes I need a little encouragement to make my mind up. A Savage 12 BVSS in 308 with 1 in 12 twist is now mine.

12.7% of the garage is now tidy.

Not even 10am and I feel pretty good about the day. :):):):):)

cheers guys!

Dave,
when I read that line, I really felt like I was watching Brave Heart and William Wallace was making his battle speech. And I'm from the side that built the wall to keep those buggers out.

Your on the true path without a doubt. :)

And this is how she shoots!

And there was a happy ending. :):)

First time at the range. barrel break in :D. 7 rounds, 7 rounds then 5 rounds.
EDIT: there were another 12 rounds fired that are not for posting.

It looks like a model 12 BVSS. EGW rail, burris Zee rings and 4200 4x16.
Looking at this pic I need to start a new thread. Shall I buy a gun or stain my deck? :D
