Hey guys I recently found out about the SU-16F Tactical version and it really caught my eye. The only downside that I've read is that it is all plastic? I'm looking to buy a black NR rifle in 223/5.56 or even 7.62. Would a SU-16F Tactical be of similar quality to what we've seen of the WK-180c so far? I just don't feel like waiting for more than half a year for the WK-180c. I've also been thinking of picking up a type 97 or vz58 instead. I can get a brand new SU-16F Tactical for $1100 before taxes. I want to keep the cost under $1200ish before taxes. Currently I will only be using the rifle for target practice but may use it in the future for hunting. Thanks.

The SU 16 F is a kick ass gun, super light, pointable, respectfully accurate and reliable . But buyer beware the back of their plastic recievers can fail... Rumor has it keltec has addressed this issue, but I haven't received any sound evidence of this yet. My buddy's just broke the other week, it's off on warranty. Sucks I know lol.
I have strong hopes for the wk 180... I think it would be worth the wait.
In my experience, the Type 97s are great guns aswell! I have a decent amount of trigger time behind 3 all of which were fitted with FTUs, and all of which shoot very well by bullpup standards. But I'd only recommend a bullpup if that's really ur thing.

I have an su16 and like it, but it will be out the door once I get a wk180.
I've had two su16s and both seemed to have a wandering zero if they are warm at all. They are super light, but that's also their downfall with a polymer receiver and skinny barrel.

I had an Su 16 FX and as soon as the barrel heated up, like 5 round later, you couldn't hit the side of a barn with it. The crappy Chinese holo sight it came with wouldn't even stay together. Last Keltec I'll buy. I have a preorder in for a Wk-180
