"Buy Back Program" Price list for Individuals.

The fear amongst non-gun owners is astounding. They know nothing about firearms, the PAL or process to get one in Canada. They dont realize that gun owners are some of the most vetted people in the country. Id be willing to bet there is less corruption in the gun community than there is on parliament hill. Go figure. Will be interesting to see how all of this unfolds. Part of me believes they just launched it to say its in process and still have no idea how they are going to orchestrate such a unorganized cluster f*@#.

Who was In charge of pricing? It’s odd just looking at it some rifles I would consider par even generous but most they lowballed hardcore lol, for example does anyone remember seeing the stag10s for $1000!?! lol
For instance a $10,000 HCAR is priced at $$6300 and a HKG36 (approx $8k) is priced at $7200? Yeah numbers don’t jive. And I sure as Shiite ain’t giving up my TOW ATGM missile launcher for a paltry $2700…yeah …that’s on “the list” too 🤣f@cking clown show

I saw that and was immediately concerned as well.

Are we just turning it all in only to be told "Tough Luck!" and not getting a dime?

I'm sure I'm not the only one looking at way more funds than I'm comfortable with potentially just melting away after having the equipment (some of which brand new!) sitting in a safe for years now.
I was at a local gun shop getting some 12g ammo and store owner told me that the government took his inventory of newly prohibited and he’s yet to receive a dime . This was 5 months ago that they took his stuff…beware!

Where can I find info about what is actually required to be handed in- the receiver, the barreled action, the complete firearm? Thanks for any advice.
From what I have read, the government is buying the lowers and Pubic Safety Minister Gary “chubby cheeks” Anandsangaree will compensate you for the uppers out of his pocket …🤣🤣

Well the thing is it’s easier to point fingers without realizing there’s 3 pointing back

I feel for everyone that owns any restricted/registered firearm. No choice but to comply 😪 which probably burns through the Government's funding allocated to this. Considering there will be little participation for NR's, maybe they'd consider creating another 12.X category? No amount of money will cover the buyback at all. Getting pennies on the dollar for your property is just ridiculous too

This government has successfully used their useful idiots in mainstream media to perpetuate the myth of the evil lawful gun owner and their “assault style weapons”. This is why a full 1/3 of average Canadians support a gun ban .

From a pure money perspective I'm actually getting more than I paid. For example my Norinco AR 15 is listed at $1520 unless I'm reading this wrong. I got it for 1/3 the price so I'm pretty surprised it's that high. Having said that, this is all complete BS anyway such a joke.

I don't understand the pricing, a WK180 from Kodiak Defense is priced at $2300 but there's G43's and historic rifles going for a few hundred bucks

You are looking at through the eyes of a gun owner and someone who knows the market.

You simply need to consider these lists were put together by someone who's only training was watching "Rambo First Blood" to ensure they saw scary guns and it will all make sense.
