Buy or build?

the OP asked about the 110 FCP HS.

EC,
it comes with sling studs (if that is what your referring to). I know cos I take em out to shoot off the bags. :D

Ha! So, he did. Sorry, I get easily confused by the alphabet soup naming of these rifles sometimes.

Harleys definitely are nice. Thanks for all the replys. I think in the end I will probably buy one as Savage does make a good rifle and there is always the resale factor which I think favors a factory rifle.

To add to what I said earlier, Savage is making by far the best reasonably priced rifles right now; and the barrels are super easy to swap when the time comes. The next step up (in my less than humble opinion) is a custom or high end factory (TRG, AI, HS Precision, etc.). I've seen the Savage model 12 target rifles do some seriously impressive shooting. You should see what Jerry and the boys in the Okanagan are doing using rebarreled Stevens 200 actions.

I think you should also look on the EE for a 110BA. There's lots of them there. For a rifle that is really a low volume seller, you see them up for sale often. Ever wonder why?

It took me a while to figure but.....

I reckon they are selling them to get the 110 FCP HS. :D

Here's my $.02.
If you just want this without any real purpose, just get the factory version, go through the novelty stage, then sell again. Much easier to sell a factory gun because of initial cost to the next guy.
