Okay folks, I've noticed that there a LOT of .22s on the market and this forum has quite a few folks asking what to buy. So I might be going out of my way here, but I was wondering perhaps we should start a little buyer's guide of sorts on here so there is less clutter and repetition. Format would be something like this:

Since there are so many models out there, I didn't want to make a thread of my choosings ('cause I'm cheap) but a whole collaborative CGN recommended choice. I'm aware there's gonna be some very close ties so there will be an recommended alternative.

Bargain, Mid level, and High level Backpackers(Survival?)
Bargain, Mid level, and High level Lever actions

Bargain is price range of under $200. Mid level is $200-$600. High level is $600+. This are general price ranges but they can be altered to fit the intended purpose. I think that's about it. Let's be civil folks, no "dat gun iz dat shiiit!!!11!!" kind of internet speak. It's annoying as hell. After a while, I'll add a general consensus for each purpose. And GO!
