Buying A Flintlock Rifle From The U.S.

Got one a few years ago. You have two options: declare it at the border and pay custom taxes or dont declare it, maybe they won't search the car! Anyway, you'd better have a copy of the regulation about flintlocks because most custom officers don't know they don't need to be registered...

I cross the border many times a year with one of my flintlock, i can tell you the problem is always getting back IN Canada with it, never goint out!
 
Just order it and have them mail it using US International Post, for insurance up to $1,000.00, and have it marked as an antique.

Flintlocks...No problems at all , be prepared to pay ALOT for shipping though.

Example, Last summer I sent to dixie for a piedersoli bess kit..
160 $$ shipping before they would release it to me... plus...

they shredded the box during their search for w.m.d.

If your going to do it..Make it soon... our nearly equal currency is supposed to start lowering again ..
