So here is what I narrowed it down to:

Ameristep Intimidator Blind $469 (expensive)

Ameristep Two Man chair blind $169 (my favorite so far) but not sure how good this is in winter)

Primos Escape Delux $189 - $260

Primos Vision $189 - $260

I will be using theseyear round so I need dependibility and functionability.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I cannot comment on anyone of the blinds you mention, as I have not used them...

however I have used and have 3 of the Ameristep Outhouse blinds, great for one person, setup is easy, so is take down.

have used them summer, fall, hot weather, rainy weather, and overall a very good product

I have not used them in the winter and therefore don't know how they would be in that type of climate.

I had 4 but gave one to my dad to take to Europe, he has had no issues with his either.

hope this helps a bit

cheers

I have the Ameristep doghouse blind and like it. My wife and I used it with 2 fold up chairs that you carry in a bag. She got a black powder doe and I got a nice buck from it a week later. I have used it once this winter and think it is good for that too as long as it is set up in the trees. They are a bit heavy to carry in along with all the other gear, but you sure see lots more when you sit tight.

dog house here for transporting into the field and easy set up shoot coyote, fox moose deer and turkey out mine would have anyother blind there is a enough room for two and with a little heater in the cold months this thing is awsome.

The girlfriend bought me the Ameristep doghouse and I love it!!
Easy to take around with the shoulder straps and lightweight. Also works well as a nice little ice fishing hut.

i use the doghouse also, heres a pic of the inside...

I just took mine out and set it up in the living room......... its big... no problem fitting 2 people comfortably.

I noticed mine has the velcro and not the magnets, does this mean I got the old model?

as I told you last week, open invite, this week might be tough as my father wants to come, but how about the following weekend we go to Collingwood and visit my good friend Hungry, hunt some yotes and learn a bit about service rifles and hear some good jokes? Send me a PM.

I used an Ameristep outhouse this past deer season. It was the first time using a ground blind and did not think I would like it, but I have to say after a few days in the rain I was one happy camper. The out house is nice for the fact you can stand straight up in it to stretch. I have an office chair in mine so it was real comfy.

The one thing I was not impressed about was water seepage. It was a good thing I had seam sealed all the seams on the roof, but I wish i would have done all the other seams as well, especially the seams around the zipper because water was coming in and running down the walls. I will admit, the time it came in on the sides it was raining pretty hard with one hell of a wind, but this summer I will be sealing everything up tight.
