Buying a gun for gf

Want to buy a gsg 1911 for the gf for Christmas.

Al flahertys looks to have the best price so I'll be heading down in the next day or so.
Have picked up a few others in pairs like the norinco 45 deal but they are all in my name even though some are customized for her.

Is there a way to put it in her name without her knowing if I have her rpal?

I think she would like it that much more if it was " really" hers.
If not I'll just have to transfer it to her once she gets it.

Which I also have never done before so wondering what that entails
