Buying a m24-47 from Marstar?

Here what I was told in a email from the dealer:
The rifle has not been re barreled, the year is 1943, it does not have a bayonet, and it is an Egyptian rifle.
The rifle is I all appearance a ag42 but as per site info and the employee testing round in the chamber while I was on the phone a 8mm mauser.
