Hi everyone. I have been looking into buying an RCBS rockchucker press in the states. I found a really good deal on one. The plan is to have it shipped to a depot and then run across and pick it up. Any of you guys ever bought one over there? Anything I should know before doing so? I called Mirimichi firearms centre today and they said there should be no problem brining it into Canada...Just thought I'd ask you guys as well. Thanks for any info this is my first press.

It's a tool shouldn't be any problem. I recently picked up a sizing die for my star machine and have picked up bullet molds on U.S. side. Told the U.S. customs people where I was going ,what I was picking up. No problem. I ended up showing them videos of reloading ammo and pics of some of my cast bullets. He seemed to get a kick out of it.No issues for me. Good luck p.s. Be honest with them!

CBSA is going to want to collect the tax when you bring it into Canada, but apart from that there are no restrictions either side of the border.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the input. The RC 2 master kit is on sale for like $250 but its $478 at cabelas canada, and similar price at WSS. Well worth the short drive across the line.
