buying a rimfire

Calgary shooting centre has a box of them.
Priced $75 each.
Comment are unneeded. Do you guys feel better about yourselves.

You originally posted your special brand of passive aggressive misinformed BS, and got called on it. Quit snivelling and suck it up, buttercup.

Oh I get a kick out of little airwolf and his issues with heavy rifles. I was going to recommend a savage mk ii trr, but you will be happy with your 10/22. Buying parts is fun!

Grelmar, 22forever: Thanks, I've been lurking for several months before I started posting, as I am still researching my future acquisitions. That "ignore" option is a useful trick, and I know juuuust whom to try it on! :)

Al Flaherty's Team: Thanks for the price check and thanks twice over for the giggles! I'm considering getting either the Mk22 or a Ruger 10/22 w/Archangel Nomad. Trouble for me is just testing the ergonomics before I buy, but I'll know where to go for the mags!

Satrap, congratulations! May your new friend spit many a fine lump of metal where you want them to go! :)

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate from the 10/22 lovers BUT I recently bought a Remington 597 HB semi-auto and have nothing but praise for it. Shoots as good as the 10/22, or in my opinion, better.

One draw back though, there isn't nearly as much aftermarket accessories and the 30 round mags are hit or miss. But Remington will replace your faulty mags until you running smooth. I think the gun, Bushnell TRS-25 red dot and a couple 30 round mags... I spent $385-ish.
