Does anyone have a connection or a retailer that I could contact to buy a complete skid
Of 12 gauge shells for trap. I'm located in Ottawa and the best price I can currently find is
Le Baron at 75 dollars a case ( 10 boxes of 25 )

Anyways if anyone has a contact for me that would be great and if anyone has bought a skid
Resently please let me know what you paid shipped and how many cases where on the skid.

Thanks

Call Lawry's. He gives a $1/case discount on skids. Federal Top guns are $68.95/flat on their website currently. I think a skid was 116 flats? Ask for Derek. Last I spoke with him shipping was $4/case for a skid to Lloydminster, AB so to Ottawa should be much less I would think?

Thanks guys I will call Lawrys and stittsville tomorrow see who has the best deal.
It might take me a whole year to shoot my half of a skid but It will be a blast

Lawry's is great, and they're literally about 5 minutes from where I live. :)

I know I recently got a skid from Cabalas

Challenger @ $69.90 per case, dropped shipped to nearest store FREE, skid lot they gave me 5% off, so no GST basically

If anyone is interested Black Goose Ammunition made by Sterling Cross in Abbotsford, BC is $66.00 a case free shipping on orders over 150 flats.

We heard that Score is in a huge lawsuit that states they are using reclaimed lead and selling the shells as new manufacture after we bought 3 pallets. We cut a few open at our club and yup...reclaimed lead...sent the whole shipment back and are trying this new company Black Goose from Abbotsford if we ever see our money back.

While I don't condone false advertising, did you actually see any difference in shot performance with the reclaimed shot?

We've been buying Score for 3 years now, over 10 pallets , and they perform great . I have shot 2 100 straights with them in competition and lots of 25 straights in practice. They are the best bang for the buck IMHO

I am on Vancouver Island. We didn't shoot it because we bought new manufacture not reclaimed. Sent it all back. I am sure it is fine but why charge the same as new? IMHO

I understand your concern and I have also talked with Nicole at Black Goose, I'm all for supporting a BC company and when they, BG,bring there selection and quality control up to Scores standards we are probably support them. As it stands now the powder they addressed using is incredibly dirty and so you know the lead they addressed using in their 1oz loads is a mix of 8+9s so figure that out.

I shot 20 flats of SCORE target this year. I also cut a few open. The majority of the shot looked ok. Nothing like Kent diamond shot, but better than Federal or Winchester promotional shells. I did notice some of the shot appeared to be cut and I assumed that had occurred during the shot dropping/measuring stage. Overall I consider it a great shell for the money.
