Buying an Arisaka Type 99 in BC?

The guy has over 24,000 feedback scores and almost all positive. You will obviously find a hater for anyone out there, and I think half of his haters are his competitors for obvious reasons.
I'm sure if Jesus H Christ himself sold over 24,000 things on gunbroker a few deals could slip and someone out there be pissed.
I can only say from personal direct experience he was very cool to deal with, items were better than he described, and he filled out all paperwork properly to have me import it.
Myself and another 24,000 buyers on gunbroker can't all be wrong.

Sreisel is definitely one seller to AVOID.

He humps and misrepresents a lot of rifles and people are too gullable and stupid to even notice. Shill bidders with NR (No Reserve) jacking up his price.
Checkout the K98 Forum, every K98 he sells is a Turd. Just a bad player that's been known for years if you follow the forums.

Well we should not believe everything on the internet, especially on a gun forum where people whine about the high price of milsurps. I chaulk up most of his haters as grumpy old timers upset he got double for the same rifle they sold last week.

I've been on ebay since the very beginning when it went online, and there has always been talk of shill bidders with auctions to drive up prices. It would be very difficult to organize that considering he has like 50+ auctions at one time year round, plus he puts stuff for Buy Now. In all honesty it doesn't pass the smell test. He has thousands of buyers watching his auctions, including me. He doesn't need a shrill bidder.

Happy buyers don't post things on forums, but 24,000 plus and he is a top 25 seller on gunbroker. I doubt anyone would risk blowing his repeat business and high marketability by trying to up the price of a mauser by $50. Doesn't make sense. Plus he takes a lot of photos. It's hard to say he is being deceitful when he shows you a photo of every square inch.

I find lots of German stuff "suspicious", everywhere - including on CGN.
