Buying binocular in the US?

I have bought Minox binoculars from Doug at CameraLand Sponsor here see name at top.
Last set I got in 4 days from NY,NY to my door and great price

if they charge you duty it will cost you apron 6% plus your provincial tax. If not made in North America. If you get luck just gst. Done it a couple of times with swaro.

Cameraland is the place to go.

Ordered a set of Swaro's for my dad's birthday. Not a hiccup and arrived quick.

I'm a big fan of B&H Photo (assuming they have a product/price you like).

Reputable vendor, decent shipping rates to Canada, taxes prepaid, no playing around with CBSA when it arrives in Canada.

Just keep in mind that if you buy from the US, your warranty will likely be back in the US unless the specific mfgr supports international warranties.

I've bought 2 sets from the US, paid no duty or any tax on either of them. One was from Cameraland, the other from Alaska.
