Buying Brass off E-Bay???

You don't mention where the seller is. If he is in the US, there would be a legal requirement for an export licence.

I have bought brass from Ebay before. The seller put the package in the mail & a week later it was in my mail box. Easy.

Some Ebay sellers will not ship to Canada. Some will. ask them before bidding.
How many you want to buy may be a factor. A package of 500 should not be a problem. If you want all 10,000, the ???

Why not buy from a company up here. Be a lot easier.

Check out www.ebay.ca "reloading equipment" located in "CANADA". Same ebay just your dealing in Canada, no import/export permits. Not a big selection, though.

"...The seller put the package in the mail & a week later..." If that was after 9-11 he was in violation of U.S. law. You got lucky.
.308 Win brass is not difficult to come by. Buy anything off of E-Bay and you are supporting an anti-firearm company.

I buy stuff on Ebay quite often and the only problems I've had involved Canadian sellers...bought a powder scale a month ago and haven't seen it yet. In over 170 purchases the only misrepresented items were sold by fellow Canadians. I buy rifle scopes, old bullet moulds, loading tools, scope mounts, and rings etc., never a problem. Last purchase was a Springfield Armory 3rd gen. mount for an M14 about 10 days ago from a seller in Louisiana, took 5 days to get here and is better than described.
Its faster and simpler to buy scope rings that way than try to deal with the local gun shop where you have two choices for rings....Weaver and Weaver.
Ebay seems to have a good selection of Talley and Warne rings on a regular basis, both of which I can't find locally.
However I would prefer to buy everything I need here if only that were possible.

I have bought brass off eBay many times and never had a problem, you do not have to limit yourself to brass from Canada only, the last batch I bought was from England.

New brass around the GTA ?? Cannot think of anyone right now.
You could try Higginson Powder near Ottawa Or put a wanted to buy thread in the reloading forum.
What quantity are you think about ??

No New Brass in Southern Ont. ???

I would want to start off with at least 200-400pcs., but if someone has 1K-2K lying around, I won't say no.

Or Wholesale or Russels or the headers above this thread like Cdn Ammo etc.
Online purchases are dead easy and the quality is good. Besides, they will cover you. IMO easier to get screwed on Ebay. This site has a lot to offer too. Check it out or put in a Wanted ad. Works real well, or you can trade for it too.

"...around the GTA?..." Shooter's Choice in Waterloo had bags of new unprimed brass in assorted flavours, the last time I was there.
MG34, exporting brass from the U.S. requires the U.S. export permit. Mind you, it won't be you who gets arrested. The seller will.
