buying brass

I am looking for brass for relatively old calibres (300 Savage, 250-3000,etc) where is a good place to order from? Got some in past from CanadianCamo but they seem to have gone out of business?

Higginson's has .300 Savage 1-F brass , no 250-3000 though.

You could probably get 22-250 brass easily and neck it up to 25 cal (250/3000 is the parent case for 22-250). Ellwood Epps in Orillia Ont, seems to be a good place to start when you need something out of the ordinary.

I just bought some 250-3000 brass from Russels Sports.

.300 savage and .250 savage are usually available from Russel's or Wholesale Sports. I imagine Epp's would have them as well as Higginson's.

Do not trust thier 1FX. Been there done that, recieved already damaged brass in the bag that was shipped. Thier reply was they can't warranty 1FX brass. Hmmmm...... Why call it 1FX then..

Take the ever plentiful 308 Win, run it in 300 Sav sizing die, trim and you now have cheap 300 Sav brass. Head stamp is wrong but that is a minor detail.

What's up with that, I stumbled on it searching somthing else. I bought my brass just last year. Oh well thier 1xf brass as stated sucks! FYI.
