Buying Firearms

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site and although i have not been granted my access yet to purchase firearms, i was wondering if anyone could answer my question (I'm sure it's posted somewhere on the site, but there is so much info to go through to get started)

Here's my question;

Generally how do people pay for their purchases? What i mean is, if you are going to have something shipped is there a (FRAUD ALERT) option, or how is this done? I'm just not sure.

(FRAUD ALERT) isn't popular here. We mostly use EMT. Email money tranfer I believe. Not all banks can send them, but I think any can recieve. My CIBC sends, my Credit union does not. You can also go to the post office and send a money order, works well, cost a couple bucks more and is slower than doing a transfer.

Just to add to unstableryan's post, (FRAUD ALERT) isn't popular because they are part of eBay, and eBay is anti-gun.
EMT is the way to go.

COD? I think you mean Money Order.

COD would be Cash On Delivery. When an item is shipped COD, the seller ships the item prior to recieving any funds, the Post Office at the purchaser's end recieves payment on behalf of the seller before the item is released and inturn pays the seller. This is a more costly option but is a safe way to do a transaction for both parties, guaranteeing neither party can be scammed.
