Hello all, I was in my local shop and noticed a used CZ SP 01 Shadow. I have never seen a used one before and apparently it was just traded in that day. Its got the original paperwork, hard case and 2 mags. This is the exact same gun I have been practicing with at my local club. So I bought it. My question is how important is it to know how many rounds have been thru it? or to keep track of how many you put thru it? its in amazing shape with newer springs, trigger job and the shop has given it a complete once over. Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks:)

I keep a log but I don't think most do or need to..

It's nice to know for future parts replacement and such but not necessary.

Congrats a nice piece and great shooter

There is no way to know the ACTUAL round count on a used gun. At best you have to take the previous owner's word for it. That's no reason not to buy used though. Just take care of it and replace parts as needed.

The tag on it claimed 7000 rounds, but it had new springs and guide rod installed. Thanks for all your input.

It's kinda nice to know round count..but I bought a shadow on ee recently with maybe 5000 rounds through it..it's like new, really...fab pistol, shoot and enjoy...some threads on here for what spares to cary...
