There's a GSG out at DVC Ventures in Coquitlam you can rent to try. I know it's already seen more than a few thousand rounds of use and so far it has been as reliable as their two Rugers. Not to say that NOTHING goes wrong with it or the Rugers but not much else is as good and runs as consistently as those two guns under the conditions they see.
I've shot it myself and it seems accurate enough but it's begging for a trigger job to both lighten the release as well as reduce the travel. The gun LOOKS great and handles well and feels very 1911 in the hand for weight and balance. All in all I think it's a great deal and would be totally golden if someone could massage the heavy and long creep of the trigger feel.
