Buying my first sks. Couple questions.

Hey ppl. I am going to be buying my first sks very soon and was wondering what i should be looking for to get the best sks. I have been looking online and can't find any good site. The best one i found a few months ago is now gone WWW . SIMONOV . NET. It seems like information on the internet conterdicts each other, for example the black bolt. I can't figure out if the painted black bolt has any significance to it. One of the only things i can seem to find is how to tell if the rifle is of sniper grade. Ohh yeah I am looking to buy a russian.

Russian sks

Pick up one of the russian sks ($225 in some places) that has been flooding the market lately. Also spend the extra and get the case of ammo as well ($200-$250). Ammo aint getting any cheaper so get it while you can.

Get it before the zombies come, OMG wheres my tinfoil hat!!!! :ninja:~~~:50cal:

But seriously, get it, and the ammo, while you can. They wont last long.
 
i dont think that they were used for sniper rifles at all but thats what i have heard ppl call it.
and i already have a case of ammo so now all i need is the gun.
