With 9mm ammo price rising again, I'm wondering at what price difference would people be willing to buy factory reloaded vs. new production?

Personally if the difference is less than $30 per thousand round I'd just buy new... Also I remember there used to be Wartak that reload 9mm for decent price, are they still in business?

Cheers

Edit - I apologize but I obviously did not read the question asked in detail. I'm getting old. Ignore me.

-------

I already have the equipment but can reload 9mm for about $9-$10 per box of 50 (including tax). Generally Campro projectiles and buy primers and powder on sale (or from the EE). Brass I get free from the floor of my local range.

A local store sells boxes of 50 for $19.99 plus tax = $22.59 so I am saving $12.59 per box assuming my time is worth zero. So less than half price to reload. If my gear cost say $500 (Lee turret press, dies, funnel, scale, loading block) so someone would need to load 40 boxes to pay for the equipment. Everything else is savings.

Sorry sir i just realized my title was misleading, i revised it already. i live in small place in the heart of city so i don't really want to set up my own reloading equipment. i used to see factory reloaded ammo (e.g. Wartar) for sale in local gun store for a lot cheaper than brand new productions. I'm wondering how much of a price different would be people's threshold between buying factory reloaded ammo vs. brand new productions.
