Buying new xcr need help with caliber.

I have an XCR-L in 7.63x39 and 5.56mm. I find it great in both calibres. It is easy to swap between the two. Only wish they would bring out the gas block front sight they once talked about.

I have found the ergonomics to be great as a right hander and I don't have an issue with the weight. if I had a choice I would take it in a 16inch medium profile which I think would enhance the balance. Accuracy has been good in both calibres, actually slightly better in 7.62 with chinese milsurp.as opposed to cheap federal bulk in 5.56.

Reliability has been great for me in both calibres.

I have no experience with the Tavor and as such can't speak to it. I like bullpups on the whole, they have some inherent advantages but also a few disadvantages due to form factors.

I like the Swiss but for me it turned into a value for money thing. The XCR was better in this regard IMHO and has better ergos to boot.
