Buying Pelts?

Check out Ebay theres lotsa pelts for sale on there the fox and yotes are sometimes not to bad a price.
not sure on the permits thing but on ebay where you cant buy much gun related stuff you can buy ivory or a bird of paradise fully mounted/ stuffed thats a protected species :rolleyes:
I never seen any permits listed with any of the taxidermy stuff on ebay maby they supply one but best to ask.


I wanted to buy a Wolf skin but there like $500 and up so i will just go get my own.
 
the only reaon i said this thread should have een locked out is becoues of fishers who us this kind of thing against regul;er guys that do not know better or know the law to the fullest .just like if somone started a thread asking to buy bear gulles .or castors .if you donot know the law you could be sucked it to a sting just coution
 
For me its like buying someone elses baseball trophy and putting it on my mantle, much prefer getting my own

You are right for most trophies, but for something special, like this wolverine, to get the best you have to pay good coin for it.
This was caught, skinned and prepared for mounting, in the NWTs by a professional trapper. It was then done up by, at the time, one of the best taxidermists in BC. He rated it extra large, extra fine.

that ia a great looking rug wow .i hate to see someone get in trouble and not even now it.unless some one has a trapers lic or a fur buyers lic thy can not even handel raw fur .the only way to buy it is if it has gone thru a licenced tannery ..as a trapper i can tan my hides for my own us but i can not sell them to the avarage joe we must ship them to the action houes .DUTCH

Wow, that is a nice one.

I HAD a fairly average wolverine done up exactly the same way...then my rottweiller at the face off it! I'm going to miss that dog...
