buying scope mount from U.S online store?

I'm thinking to upgrade my pistols/rifles with red dot sight. Is it OK to buy scope mount from U.S. online store? Or is it regulated like scope?

It's regulated. Try finding in on Brownells, they ship most of their scope mounts to Canada (unless the manufacturer prevents them from doing so) and they will do the export paperwork for you.

I've purchased several mounts from US over the last 6 or 7 years, the latest 2 months ago. No issues at all other than the big bite from exchange rate. If I recall correctly they were all shipped USPS.
